Options

At Ditton Park Academy, the ‘broad and balanced’ Key Stage 4 curriculum has been designed to strike a balance between making sure that students study a wide range of subjects and allowing them to develop their own interests. From Year 9 students start Key Stage 4 and will study a core of compulsory subjects, as well as their optional subjects.

We are taking great care to ensure that what is offered at Key Stage 4 within school reflects the rapidly changing national practice where GCSEs are undergoing and have undergone fundamental reform, to reflect DfE policy and guidance.

Options for the current Year 9 will take place during Spring 2026.  You will be contacted with further details nearer the time.
