Resetting of Student Passwords

As we have begun to utilise IT more both inside the classroom and at home, it has become important for us to have a robust way for students to reset their passwords.


Over the past few weeks, we have rolled out self-service password resets. Students were asked when they logged in to provide either an alternative e-mail or to select 3 security questions. Afterwards, if they forget their password, they can reset it immediately using this recovery information. 

To do this, they can go to the school website; Quick Links at the top of the page and pick the ‘Office 365 – Student Password Reset’ button.

The screen will then give instructions on how to reset the password.

If for any reason the student cannot access their recovery e-mail or cannot remember the answers they selected, then we can still reset either by reporting this to their teacher or by contacting the school via e-mail.

These requests are checked throughout the day but can take a lot longer to action.  As such, wherever possible, we encourage students to use this new method to get back online quickly.

Please take the opportunity to ensure that your child knows how to logon and that they know their account details.
