1 extended piece of work per week, requiring research and writing up.

Ongoing revision and note consolidation.  Approx 3-4 hours per week

Year 12: 4-day fieldwork residential in Wales and optional residential to Iceland. There are frequent opportunities to have double lessons 'in the field' (e.g. looking at flood risk in Runneymede). Finally, there will be the opportunity to attend the Geographical Association conference in preparation for the NEA.

Year 13:

Early in year 13 students visit University College London to have a talk on further study and careers in geography
